At the Bolaven Plateau are different hilltribes, Alak, Katou, Nghe, Arious, Ong, Loven and naturally the Souei.
They all live between next to the road Pakse - Paksong, Paksong - Tatheng - Ban Beng, and Paksong - Attapeu.
